Charli XCX embraced sultry details at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
The singer-songwriter sported a full look from Mugler‘s fall 2024 collection, which was designed by the label’s creative director, Casey Cadwallader. Charli’s ensemble consisted of a plunging black bodysuit and a velvet wrap skirt featuring a thigh-high slit. She completed her look with leather thigh-high boots from Jimmy Choo, silver statement earrings and a small handbag.
Stylist Chris Horan, who also counts Christina Aguilera and Hari Nef as clients, dressed Charli for the occasion. Hairdresser Gregg Lennon Jr. styled the artist’s dark tresses in a straightened middle part, while makeup artist Yasmin Istanbouli gave her brown eye shadow and a stained lip.
The ASCAP Pop Music Awards celebrates the songwriters, producers and publishers behind the year’s biggest hits. Charli XCX received the Global Impact Award, which recognized the enduring worldwide popularity of her music.
At the Met Gala on Monday, Charli kept it simple in a white off-the-shoulder gown crafted from vintage T-shirts. Featuring metallic embroidery, the piece was custom-made by Marni, who also dressed Nicki Minaj and Rita Ora for the star-studded ball.
Charli is gearing up to release her sixth album, “Brat,” which drops June 7. On Thursday, the singer shared a teaser for her “360” music video, out Friday, which features a star-studded cast including Rachel Sennott, Julia Fox and Chloe Cherry.
“Hot girls wya? 360 tonight,” she wrote on Instagram.
