Charli XCX brought one of Saint Laurent’s sharpest heels to “The Moment” premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival on Friday.
The singer and actress wore the brand’s Amalia slingback pumps in black patent leather. The $2,050 style features an exaggerated, elongated pointed toe, a slim metal stiletto and a narrow slingback strap, with fuchsia trim running along the insole and heel cup. Wide-leg black trousers from Saint Laurent’s spring 2025 collection covered most of the heel, with the pinched-toe point of the shoe peeking out.
The “Apple” singer paired the trousers with a black tailored blazer and a pale striped button-down shirt, finished with a black-and-cream diagonal striped tie from the spring 2025 runway. She wore a dark leather glove and held a long gray-brown fur coat, letting it trail across the carpet. The look was styled by her longtime collaborator Chris Horan.

Earlier in the day, Charli leaned into color and texture at The Variety Studio presented by Audible, where she wore Rodarte’s spring 2017 knee-high patchwork python boots with a matching white furry jacket and lace dress look. That calf-hugging style combined multicolored snake-printed leather panels over a tall stiletto heel, giving her first Sundance stop a graphic edge.
The Amalia slingback has been building a recent celebrity track record, too. Bella Hadid wore the silhouette in New York while promoting the upcoming series “The Beauty” earlier in the month, while Hailey Bieber punctuated a look with the patent slingbacks during a Rhode press push last September.
“The Moment” is a new A24 mockumentary directed by Aidan Zamiri, with Charli playing a fictionalized version of herself as she prepares for a world tour in support of her 2024 album “Brat.” The film, which also stars Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Jamie Demetriou and Alexander Skarsgård, premiered at Sundance ahead of its Jan. 30 U.S. theatrical release.
