Unveiled via a look book, Chopova Lowena’s fall 2025 collection melded the fearless and romantic spirit of female pilots and skydivers from the 20th century with the rebellious acid-house party look from the ’80s.

The maverick brand, known for its Harajuku-girl-meets-Bulgarian folklore aesthetic, presented a collection that was anything but quiet luxury. It was fun, unapologetically loud and dizzyingly colorful. It’s also for those who are financially comfortable, confident, and not afraid to show their true selves.

The brand’s image dovetailed with the rule-breaking female figures in aviation like Tiny Broadwick and Amelia Earhart, and with the ravers who partied during a period now known as the Second Summer of Love.

The lineup was arguably the brand’s most embellished to date, festooned with floral lace, beads, charms, studs and patchwork.

A symbol of both “aviation and rave-iation,” according to Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena, the butterfly was a key motif this season. It appeared as kiss-lock fastenings, beaded patterns, and hand-crocheted motifs across the collection.

Standouts also included “Don’t talk to me, I’m flying right now” slogan T-shirts, cartoon graphic knits, faux fur-trimmed denim, glossy two-tone pleated skirts and PVC-covered check raincoats.
