Chrissy Teigen made an appearance on the “Today” show to discuss her new podcast on Wednesday in New York City. The longtime model spoke with cohost Savannah Guthrie about her new venture “Self-Conscious,” a podcast in which Teigen discusses everything from sobriety to self-acceptance and more.

For her daytime talk show appearance, Teigen opted for a look courtesy of Carolina Herrera‘s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The strapless minidress featured a houndstooth print pattern with a hint of a peplum element.

Teigen’s minidress made its runway debut as part of New York Fashion Week in September 2024. The spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, curated by creative director Wes Gordon, featured “a tight color palette, just six hues compared to his usual 15 or 20,” Booth Moore wrote in WWD’s review of the collection, adding there was an element of “graphic glamour and flower power” among the pieces.

“The collection used big, bold, handmade silk flowers throughout, including on a dazzling black top with a black rose at one shoulder and a single ruffled sleeve, worn with a sheer black floral embroidered skirt. Flowers in sleek chignons looked fresh again, too,” Moore wrote.

“Daywear was more effortless, with knit skirt sets dotted with floral embroideries or edged in lace in a nod to the lingerie trend; draped jersey dresses in Happy pink, and classic tailoring in solids or houndstooth checks for customers now coming to the brand for that,” the designer said.
