Montreal-based technical brand Ciele Athletics is advancing its Elite running collection with a new performance fabric designed to regulate temperature during high-intensity training and race-day efforts.

The B Corp’s latest Elite Exploration (EXP) capsule centers on COOLmatic | EXP TERRAperf, a lightweight technical woven infused with graphene to disperse body heat. Meagan Smith, Ciele Athletics’ production and sourcing manager, said the precision-stretch fabric “acts like a thermal super-highway.”

“It doesn’t just manage heat, it masters thermoregulation,” she added.

The trademarked, fabric appears throughout the collection—across singlets, T-shirts, compression shorts and several caps.

Highlights in the Elite collection include perforated Terraperf tops to improve airflow and the CRGTightShort made with COOLmatic | PLUS KLOSfit, a compressive, cool-to-the-touch fabric. The lightweight, breathable knit RDShort uses carbon fiber yarn, which Ciele first introduced in the brand’s 2022 collection. The shorts have a welded liner with embedded ionic silver for permanent odor control.

The collection also includes the FSTCap and a TRLBucket Elite hat, which offers more sun protection. The bucket hat uses a ceramic-printed fabric and comes with a built-in neck guard.

Products elsewhere in the collection incorporate recycled materials as part of the company’s wider sustainability goals. Since launching in 2014, Ciele Athletics now sells its running gear in over 1,300 stores across 43 countries.
