Crocs has partnered with Simone Rocha for a new collection. The collaboration is the latest among Crocs brand associations. The collection will officially launch on April 10.
Crocs takes inspiration from Simone Rocha’s whimsical sensibility, adorning Crocs’ styles with glittering floral jewels, pearls and more romantic accents. The collection reimagines three of Crocs’ silhouette: the Siren Clog, Classic Clog and Quick Trail shoes.
With each style, Crocs incorporates Rocha’s signature pearls, crystals and jet beading, merging the idiosyncratic design of Rocha with the quintessential comfort Crocs is best known for.
The Crocs x Simone Rocha collection had its initial preview during London Fashion Week’s spring 2024 showcase in September 2023. Models on the runway, staged at the English National Ballet, not only previewed apparel from Rocha’s spring collection, but also donned the Crocs x Simone Rocha footwear as well. The show featured a bevy of crystal-studded socks and jet-beaded hair bows with long streamers, which added to Rocha’s brand of dreamy, homespun femininity.
Crocs has expanded its roster for brand and fashion house collaborations over the course of the last several years. In September 2023, the footwear company launched its collaboration with Hershey’s, showcasing a candy-themed shoes collection, which included two designs. Of the two looks, one was inspired by Hershey’s chocolate in a classic brown, and another Reese’s-themed style in orange.
Other brand collaborations with Crocs include Disney Pixar’s “Cars,” Levi’s, McDonald’s and more. Crocs’ partnerships extend beyond brands and fashion labels, too. Justin Bieber, Post Malone and Bad Bunny are among the celebrities who have partnered with the footwear company. Balenciaga also gave Crocs a high-fashion edge with the fashion brand’s spring 2018 collection.
U.K. brand Simone Rocha, named for its Irish fashion designer, recently showcased its couture spring 2024 collection by Jean Paul Gaultier. In March 2023, Nordstrom’s flagship New York City location gave Simone Rocha the Center Stage treatment, showcasing accessories and the finale look from the spring 2023 collection. Simone Rocha’s designs have been worn by the likes of Chloë Sevigny and Keira Knightley.
