Daisy Edgar-Jones went full Austen autumn in a custom Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood dress for the “Sense & Sensibility premiere at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Tuesday night in London.
Edgar-Jones’ corseted dress was crafted in a champagne silk duchesse fabric with a plunging V-shaped neckline and fitted bodice. A cinched waist gave the dress further silhouette definition as the dress incorporated an asymmetrical element with a thigh-high slit at the side.
Feminine touches like off-the-shoulder bow details were included on the top of the dress straps, while a Y2K-era bubble style was featured at the hemline. A bundled bunch of fabric trailed the “Normal People” breakout star as she walked the grassy variation of the red carpet.

As for accessories, Edgar-Jones opted for an agate pendant from Boucheron‘s archive made in 1877, with a gold framed portrait at the base. Delicate jewels encrusted the frame for touches of sparkle that gave the mostly muted look an elevated, if subtle, accessory element.
Glam for the actress stayed soft and glowy, with makeup by Nikki Wolf and wispy, wild hair courtesy of Emilie Bromley. Stylist Dani Michelle, who also works with Kendall Jenner and Adria Arjona, among others curated the actress’ look alongside Katie McCormick.
Prior to her official start to the “Sense & Sensibility” press tour, Edgar-Jones wore designer pieces from Valentino, Alberta Ferretti and another Vivienne Westwood number.
The British luxury label, named after the late designer, has had a major resurgence on the red carpet over the last few days. At the 2026 Emmy Awards, Florence Pugh wore a pastel lilac gown from the label with off-the-shoulder design.
Directed by Georgia Oakley, “Sense & Sensibility” is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s first novel of the same name. The story follows sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, played by Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles, who navigate courtship and sisterhood following the death of their father and a change in their prospects. The film hits theaters Oct. 16.
