Making her debut at the iconic country music festival Stagecoach on Saturday, April 26, rising country-pop star Dasha delivered a set she says felt more like a Broadway musical than a typical festival show. “I’ve worked so hard these past few weeks to prepare a set that, from start to finish, had so much intention – from the intro to the visuals and each song we picked to perform,” Dasha says. “Everyone likes to think they know who I am, but this felt like the first time I got to really show a huge audience who Dasha is.”
With new music and major live shows, her world has been in full swing. “It’s been a beautiful kind of chaos lately,” she admits. “But I just tried to stay present, breathe it all in, and celebrate how far this dream has come.” Her grounding ritual? A few quiet moments of meditation before stepping on stage, “even if it’s just for a moment.”
“People always joke about how many snacks I carry, but hey, I’m not trying to get hangry before walking on stage.”
Of course, Dasha made sure her debut look matched the moment. Her custom outfit, created in collaboration with VS PINK, was equal parts country and cool. “This look is so me; it’s country, it’s cute, and it’s got that little flirty edge with the bedazzled chaps,” she says. “We played with textures and silhouettes that really reflect where I’m at right now: confident, bold, and not afraid to have fun with fashion.”
Her three-word festival style mantra? “Cuntry, bold, and confident.” Packing for Stagecoach, or any festival for that matter, comes with its own strategy. “First thing in the bag? My in-ears. Non-negotiable,” she says. “And honestly, I probably checked for them five times. They were basically glued to me all weekend.” A less expected essential? Her snack stash. “People always joke about how many snacks I carry, but hey, I’m not trying to get hangry before walking on stage.”
Even with a packed schedule, Dasha carved out time to embrace the Stagecoach chaos. “Normally, my days are super structured – workouts, writing sessions, rehearsals. But Stagecoach weekend? Total whirlwind. It was all about performing, running into friends and fans, and just having the absolute best time.” And when she wasn’t on stage? “I was in baggy sweats, a cute corset top, and some beat-up sneakers,” she says. “And if there was a late-night food truck around, you definitely would’ve found me there.”
Ahead, Dasha shares the specific essentials she packs for festival season, from beauty staples to the snacks she swears by.
