Diipa Büller-Khosla is a global fashion and beauty influencer and the founder of Indē Wild, an Ayurvedic-based beauty brand. She learned everything there is to know about the ancient practice from her mother, who is an Ayurvedic doctor and dermatologist. “We have 5,000 years of history, heritage and culture, and rich ingredients that many other brands borrowed and diluted,” she says. “Turmeric, amla, or ashwagandha are used in so many other brands, and it’s really a time to celebrate and take ownership of those ingredients, and put it into formulations in the way we have learned in our beauty rituals.”

As an influencer, she has gotten to try plenty of products, but she realized that there was no singular brand that had what she was looking for, so she decided to create it. “Why do we have to pick one or the other; only pretty brands, clinical brands, or natural brands?” she says, adding that she wanted her company to check all the boxes. That’s why she offers serum for hyperpigmentation in the same breath as hair oil to boost growth.

Founding her beauty brand Indē Wild was not only an homage to her heritage but also a love letter to her community, both online and in real life. “Having almost two million people who know you, trust you, and love you – you’re starting with that,” she says. Because of that, she focuses on the concerns of melanated skin, Asian skin, and South Asian hair. “We keep them at the core of every decision.”

As a practitioner of Ayurveda, some of her daily habits include yoga and meditation, drinking warm water in the morning, oil pulling, and weekly hair oiling using the brand’s jasmine-scented Champi oil.
