Dua Lipa is back to black. The pop star attended the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena, wearing her go-to monochromatic black style statements.

For the festival’s red carpet, Lipa wore a silk halter top featuring crystal embellishments. The waistcoat was worn over a crystalized bralette top, featuring gems hanging from the bottom.  Stylist Jahleel Weaver paired a full length black skirt that included a high slit via a full-length zipper. Matching zippers were placed at the hips.

The look came from Ann Demeulemeester’s spring 2006 collection. Lipa also chose a pair of black strappy sandals that tied up the leg.

Weaver and Lipa have been working together since May. Prior, she was working with Lorenzo Posocco. Their first major moment together was the Met Gala. For that event, the popstar wore a custom Marc Jacobs sheer black gown with a custom belly chain from Tiffany & Co.

But black, particularly including leather, has been a safe place of sorts for Lipa. At the Brit Awards this year, while she was still working with Posocco, she wore a custom black leather dress with a deep V-neckline from Atelier Versace. In April, while promoting her album “Radical Optimism,” she channeled “The Matrix,” wearing an oversized black leather coat to do an appearance on SiriusXM. That piece came from Khaite.

The iHeartMusic Festival presented by Capital One is a two-day event with performances by Big Sean, Gwen Stefani, Halsey, Camila Cabello and more. The occasion is hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
