1996 Elyse and her husband, real estate investor David Walker, move from Scarsdale, N.Y., to the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.

1999 The 836-square-foot Elyse Walker flagship opens in the Pacific Palisades, Calif., catering to the well-heeled community of L.A.’s West Side that doesn’t want to fight traffic and cross the 405 freeway to shop luxury labels.

2004 Elyse hosts first Pink Party benefiting Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s women’s cancer program. The cause is special to her, having lost her mom, Barbara Feder, to breast cancer.

2007 Pacific Palisades store expands to 6,552 square feet to better serve local clients such as Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson and Maria Bell.

2016 The 9,031-square-foot Elyse Walker store opens in Newport Beach in Orange County, Calif. Designed by Marmol Radziner, the Lido Marina Village space features a fine jewelry vault to showcase the growing category.

2018 The first Towne store opens at Rick Caruso’s upscale Palisades Village shopping center, offering a high-low mix of casual basics, including jeans and T-shirt brands and ready-to-wear.

2019 The second Towne store opens in Newport Beach.

2019 Elyse parts ways with Revolve.

2019 Summer Holl is named to newly created position of president.

2021 Elyse Walker opens two new stores: one in the Rick Caruso-owned Calabasas Commons and the other in Napa Valley wine country community St. Helena, Calif.

2022 Elysewalker.com e-commerce platform launches.

2022 Elyse hosts the first Rockout Knockout Cancer charitable event in St. Helena benefiting the St. Helena Hospital Foundation and early cancer detection.

2022 The first New York City store opens in TriBeCa, a full-circle moment for the retailer, who started her career opening her own outpost of her family’s Scarsdale, N.Y.-based Capretto Shoes in Manhattan in 1987.

2023 St. Helena store opens in a new location in a historic 1800s building on Main Street.

2023 East Coast flagship opens on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

2024 Elysewalker Borrow is launched online, with a selection of the store’s brands for rent, including TWP, Partow, Rosetta Getty, LaPointe, Awake Mode, Nanushka and Câllas Milano.
