Emily Blunt fashioned a unique look for “The Fall Guy” premiere in Paris on Tuesday. The Oscar-nominated actress fashioned a dress featuring a distinct print while posing on the red carpet at the UGC Normandie theater.
Blunt wore a piece from Loewe‘s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The silk jumpsuit featured a belted waist and white silk fabric with an illustrated turnip print styled in a cascading pattern over the garment. The look also included a buttoned collar, long sleeves and billowing pants, along with pockets.
The actress completed the look with a pair of Manolo Blahnik sandal heels and jewelry courtesy of Tiffany & Co. As for her hair and makeup, Blunt kept it simple and classic. Her hair was pulled back and styled in a bun by Laini Reeves while her makeup, done by Jenn Streicher, featured bold eyes and a soft pink lip. Her look was curated by stylist Jessica Paster, who’s also worked with Quinta Brunson and Ashley Benson, among other celebrity clients.
Blunt’s vegetable-inspired look comes courtesy of Loewe’s creative director Jonathan Anderson. The piece made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in March, along with a bevy of similarly designed garments. “Looks became either quirkier, or more boyish, as the show progressed,” it was noted in a WWD review of the Spanish luxury house’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.
Along with turnip tops for flowing silks, other offbeat prints included “dinnerware florals rendered in dense, caviar beads for sweatsuits and biker boots, and an image of a dog snoozing on a carpet splashed over the front of a stiff, felt trapeze dress.”
Anderson has been the creative director of Loewe since 2013. The designer, who hails from Northern Ireland, is also the founder of JW Anderson, his own UK fashion label. More recently, Anderson served as the costume designer for the forthcoming film “Challengers” starring Zendaya and designed custom looks for the actress for the film’s press tour.
