Emily P. Wheeler is taking her signature color language off the body and into the home.

The Los Angeles-based fine jewelry designer, best known for vibrant ombré gemstone combinations, is launching her first tabletop collection, marking the brand’s initial expansion beyond jewelry. The debut includes hand-dyed tablecloths, runners, dinner napkins and cocktail napkins inspired by some of Wheeler’s most recognizable colorways.

For Wheeler, the move is less a departure than a shift in scale. “I’ve always thought about color as something that can change the way you feel,” she said. “With jewelry, it’s very intimate, it’s worn close to the body and becomes part of someone’s personal expression. Working with linens gave me the opportunity to think about color on an entirely different scale. Instead of creating a moment on the wrist or around the neck, I was creating an environment that people experience together.”

The collection translates shades including Dusk, a blend of pink and orange; Pacific, in blue and pink; the orange-toned Sol; Malibu pink, and the purple-and-blue Nightfall into dip-dyed textiles — reminiscent of the silk cords used in her bracelet collection.

Each piece is individually hand-dyed by artisans in India, producing subtle variations from one linen to the next. Wheeler said finding the right fabrics, production partners and dyeing techniques required the brand to develop an entirely new area of expertise. “I never wanted this to feel like we were simply putting our name on a home product,” she said. “I wanted it to reflect the same attention to detail and craftsmanship that defines everything we create.”

Tabletop felt like a natural entry point in part because entertaining already plays a central role in Wheeler’s life. “I don’t strive for perfection,” Wheeler said, preferring an approach that is expressive. “I love tables that feel collected over time, where heirloom pieces sit alongside vintage finds, colorful glassware, fresh flowers and unexpected details. I think the most memorable tables have personality, and that’s very much how I design jewelry as well.”

The launch serves as the first step of a larger home offering. Incense holders, lighters, bottle openers and trays are planned for spring 2027, as Wheeler works to develop a broader lifestyle world around her brand.

In fact, Wheeler has long been interested in interior design and sees the home collection as another expression of the same worldview that shapes her jewelry. The common thread, she said, will remain craftsmanship, individuality and objects intended to become part of everyday life.

“I’ve never been interested in expanding into new categories simply for the sake of it,” she said. “Every new product has to feel like an authentic reflection of who I am and how I live.”

The tabletop collection is priced from $295 to $495 and is available through the Emily P. Wheeler website, Bergdorf Goodman and select luxury retailers.
