Emma Roberts gave her “Space Cadet” premiere look an edge by embracing contrasting fabrics at the event on Thursday. The actress was joined by fellow cast members and guests at the red carpet New York City premiere of her forthcoming film.
Roberts favored a look from Versace‘s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection, featuring two fabric elements; a glittering high-waisted miniskirt in metallic silver and a strapless structured bustier in a shade of sand.
Roberts opted to keep her look the centerpiece of her ensemble, forgoing statement jewelry pieces for minimal accessories. She also wore strappy heels by Gianvito Rossi to complete her look. As for her glam, Roberts went with a clean, natural appearance, wearing her blond tresses down with a slight wave cascading down her shoulders.
When it came to her makeup, Roberts’ look featured a soft, smokey eye with bold eyebrows and a subtle berry red lip. The actress collaborated with stylists Brit and Kara Elkin on the look. Along with Roberts, the Elkins have worked with Hilary Duff and Sophia Bush, among others.

Roberts’ red carpet look comes courtesy of Versace’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection, which made its debut during Milan Fashion Week in February. For the collection, Donatella Versace leaned into a soft iteration of a rebellious style sensibility, as noted in WWD’s review of the collection. Pieces featured punk rock red-and-black checked outerwear, sheer elements and leather looks, among other styles.
The collection has already proven quite popular among A-list stars. In April, Nicole Kidman wore a selection from the collection for an Emmy FYC event for her miniseries “Expats.” On Wednesday, Selena Gomez fashioned a look from Versace’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear line during her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
“Space Cadet” follows Florida party girl Rex (Roberts), who finds herself in NASA’s space program after a fluke lands her in training with more qualified candidates. The film hits Amazon Prime Video on July 4.
