CALENDAR TWEAKS: The Giorgio Armani Group is tweaking its strategy for the Emporio Armani brand, and changing the show format.

Starting from the fall 2026 season, the label’s men’s wear collections will be shown during Milan Women’s Fashion Weeks, alongside the Emporio Armani women’s wear collections.

According to a company statement, the decision was “first considered by Giorgio Armani himself and confirmed by Leo Dell’Orco and Silvana Armani.”

Dell’Orco is the late designer’s longtime partner in charge of the men’s division and Silvana Armani is his niece.

The label won’t completely sit out the upcoming Milan Men’s Fashion Week, which runs from Jan. 16-20.

Emporio Armani and its sportswear extension EA7 will host a special event on Jan. 17 at the brand’s store on Via Manzoni in Milan.

The event will celebrate the label’s role as partner and official outfitter of the Italian team at the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, which run from Feb. 6-22 and March 6-15 next year, respectively.

The company has also confirmed the Giorgio Armani menswear show will close the runway show calendar at fashion week, per tradition. It will be staged on Jan. 19 at Via Borgonuovo 21.

The Giorgio Armani womenswear show will maintain its regular slot on the Milan Fashion Week calendar, too. Ditto for the Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture shows, which will take place in January and July 2026, as scheduled, at Palazzo Armani in Paris.
