Eva Longoria arrived for the screening of “Kinds of Kindness” at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on Friday in a floor-length gown from Elie Saab‘s spring 2024 couture collection.
The “Flamin’ Hot” director walked the festival’s red carpet in a sparkling dress crafted with small crystal and pearl beading. Each bead formed a crisscross draping effect across the center front. Additionally, Longoria’s gown featured a plunge V-neckline, a set of halter-cut straps and a small train.
Elie Saab’s spring 2024 couture collection featured a number of looks with similar embroidery, pastel colorways and form-fitting silhouettes. Additionally, several of the pieces shown during the designer’s presentation were adorned in beaded textiles, using the medium to create faux-lace, impression-piping and fringe appliques.
For Longoria’s styling, the star kept her long dark tresses swept off her shoulders in a loose wave pattern and sharp middle parting. Additionally, Longoria wore a modern makeup look, using bold lashes, a natural lip shade and a hint of silver eye shadow to accent her gown’s bright hue. To complete her ensemble, the star wore a pair of Santoni’s laminated silver, double buckle platform sandals.
This is not the first time Longoria has been spotted in a gown from Elie Saab, having worn the designer on last year’s Cannes Film Festival red carpet. The star arrived to the premiere of “The Old Oak” in a sheer white dress from the brand’s spring 2023 haute couture collection. The gown, constructed from a combination of nude illusion tulle and interlocking lattice, was intricately detailed with micro crystals and gold silk thread.
