CFDA designer Christian Siriano is set to design a custom collection of couture pajamas and curate a special fashion moment for filmmaker Lee Daniels‘ Heaven 2025 art piece. The project will be featured at The Art of Elysium nonprofit’s one-night-only art installation on Nov. 11 at Rosewood Miramar in Montecito, Calif.

“Christian’s vision embodies everything The Art of Elysium stands for — beauty as a vessel for healing, creativity as activism and fashion as a form of storytelling,” Jennifer Howell, founder and chief executive officer of The Art of Elysium, said in a statement. “His designs remind us that grace and boldness can coexist. We are honored to welcome him into our Heaven.”

Each year, the Heaven installation, curated by the nonprofit organization dedicated to healing and inspiring through the arts, selects a visionary from the film, fashion, music and design disciplines to imagine their own interpretation. This year’s “Heaven Begins Within” is Daniels’ iteration on The Art of Elysium display, which will channel unity and transformation, with Siriano’s involvement serving as a defining collaboration between the two artists.

Along with the art installation, The Art of Elysium will present singers and songwriters Alyson “Aly” and Amanda Joy “AJ” Michalka of the duo Aly & AJ with the Spirit of Elysium Award for their mutual commitment to service and creativity.

“In every concept of Heaven that I can imagine, I always find myself drifting back to being held by my mother. Hearing her voice,” Daniels said in a statement. “Finding that stillness, the peace and love inherent in a child before the world exposes them to hate, is my vision of Heaven. I hope this evening offers guests a space to pause, reflect and embrace the love of others in its purest and most innocent form.”

Founded in 1997, The Art of Elysium supports volunteer artists to craft creative, customized programs for the youth, adult and senior communities struggling with illness, hospitalization and displacement. The organization currently offers 110 monthly community programs and serves more than 30,000 individuals per year, according to The Art of Elysium’s official website.
