On Wednesday, Disney Consumer Products unveiled the full scope of its Formula 1 and F1 Academy partnership ahead of the 2026 Montreal Grand Prix and as part of its “Fuel the Magic” campaign.
As first reported by WWD, the two brands launched their limited-edition capsule collection at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix and continued their momentum at the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix with a Gentle Monster eyewear collaboration and pop-up stores in Seoul and Shanghai timed to the race.
Now, the companies are revealing the first drop of the F1 Academy collection, 11 new items within the Disney and Formula 1 collection, the launch of Disney and Formula 1 Uniqlo products and a new Disney Store collection.

Disney will also be hosting a slew of experiences during the Montreal Grand Prix — which the company said is a key milestone in its multiyear partnership and marks the deal’s expansion to encompass F1 Academy. More product, content and fan experiences are in the works for future races.
At Montreal, a Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck-inspired show car will be shown within the Disney x Formula 1 “Fuel the Magic” activation area; new apparel and accessories from the Disney x Formula 1 2026 collection, Disney and F1 Academy collection and the Disney x Formula 1 core collection will be available, and there will be Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck character moments.
“The Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada 2026 marks an exciting new chapter for Disney and Formula 1 as our global collaboration continues to expand,” Liz Shortreed, senior vice president of Disney Consumer Products, told WWD. “Through new products, content and experiences with F1 Academy, Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck bring their friendship and confidence to empower young female athletes to chase their dreams on and off the track.”
With the first drop of the F1 Academy collaboration launching May 21, Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck’s signature style remains front and center. Merging the world of racing with feminine touches for fan merch, racing graphic motifs are paired with puff ink, embroidery, vintage-washed and checkerboard patterns for apparel and accessories.
Pieces include graphic T-shirts with Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck with F1 Academy race suits, hoodies with a Minnie Mouse wheel and collectible accessories including pins, key chains and hats in bright pink, purple and blue hues. Disney said the new F1 Academy collection is a celebration of the next generation redefining the sport and the intersection of women’s sports with fashion and fandom.
“We have a real opportunity to reimagine what racing merchandise can look like, especially as new audiences come into Formula 1,” Susie Wolff told told WWD. “Bringing Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck into the world of racing through our Disney x F1 Academy collection has allowed us to create something that feels modern, feminine and, most importantly, champions two fearless female characters.
“For us, it’s about more than just giving fans a way to show their support for F1 Academy; it’s about what this collaboration represents at its core. The power of women supporting women is central to everything we do — and this partnership captures that in a way that feels both authentic and creative. The new Disney x Formula 1 Velocity collection features apparel, accessories and plush toys. The collection is available at select Disney Store flagships and will be available in the future at Disneyland Paris and Disney Store Europe locations.
Launching on Friday, the core collection for Disney and Formula 1 rolls out with new products, including a varsity jacket featuring Mickey & Friends autographs. A new Montreal-inspired capsule of graphic Ts, hoodies and a collectible pin launches on May 21.
The Uniqlo UT collaboration with Disney and Formula 1 officially launched in March, timed to the start of the racing season. On Monday, the newest pieces from the collection will be available in Canada for the race. The apparel collection will incorporate an Uniqlo exclusive Mickey Mouse racetrack and tire skid marks.
The Disney x F1 Academy collection bows on May 21 and will available at the Montreal Grand Prix, on Formula 1’s website, at the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix Plaza and select items on the Disney Store’s website. The Disney x Formula 1 Velocity collection launches on Wednesday and is available in select Disney Store flagships. The Disney and Formula 1 core collection launches on Friday and the Montreal capsule launches on May 21, available at the Montreal Grand Prix, on Formula 1’s website and at the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix Plaza. The Disney and Formula 1 Uniqlo collection is available on Monday online at the Uniqlo website and in-store at select locations across Canada.
