FOR KICKS: Fashion’s love affair with sports just keeps growing stronger, with Loewe forging a four-year partnership to dress Spain’s national soccer teams beyond the pitch, WWD has learned.
Under creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Loewe plans to provide a travel wardrobe for male and female players during all upcoming tournaments. These would include the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup in North America and the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil in 2027 through to the 2030 World Cup in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
Kicking off the partnership, the Spanish men’s national team will be provided complete off-pitch wardrobes including tailoring, casualwear, shoes and leather goods.
