Niki Taylor, the 49-year-old American model, has signed with IMG Models. She was formerly represented by One Management.
It’s a return to IMG Models for Taylor, who first joined the agency in 1992. She took a break from modeling in the 2000s, making her comeback in September 2016. She is now represented by IMG Models in all areas.
“Returning to IMG is like coming back home,” she told WWD in an exclusive statement. “I’ve known the agency since I started in the industry, and we had an amazing run. I’m excited for round two.”
Growing up in Florida, Taylor began modeling at age 14. She landed her first magazine cover that year for an issue of Seventeen. Just one year later, she was photographed for the cover of Vogue, becoming the second youngest person to do so at age 15, after actress Brooke Shields.
Taylor has been featured in many major ad campaigns; she has worked for the likes of Versace, Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier, Gap, L’Oréal, Pantene and Lee Jeans. According to IMG Models, she is the only model to have been featured on the cover of six major American magazines in the same month: Elle, Allure, Vogue, Marie Claire, Self and Shape. She also appeared on the cover of the 1998 Sports Illustrated swimsuit calendar.
