Fanatics is adding to its C-suite.
The global digital sports platform has named three executives to the management arm at its Fanatics Commerce division, which oversees the design, manufacture and sale of fan gear.
Stephen Dowling has been named to the new role of president, international and will be responsible for growing Fanatics Commerce’s business outside of North America. The overseas business has grown significantly in recent years, with the company now operating more than 80 offices, manufacturing facilities and fulfillment centers globally. Dowling, who will be based out of Fanatics’ Manchester, U.K., office, was most recently at Adidas, where he served as senior vice president of digital growth for the past six years and before that was global vice president of digital growth and brand marketing for the German company for nearly four years. Prior to that, he was with Unilever for 10 years, where he was head of e-commerce.
In addition, Valerie Love has joined Fanatics Commerce as chief people officer, where she will be responsible for all human resources functions. She was previously senior vice president of human resources at The Coca-Cola Company and has also held human resources leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, Tyco Integrated Security and General Motors. She will be based out of Fanatics’ Jacksonville, Fla., office.
Justin Tsai has joined the company in the newly created role of chief product officer. He will be responsible for updating the fan experience on Fanatics’ e-commerce sites and will work closely with the company’s technology team in San Mateo, Calif. Tsai was most recently an operating executive for Silver Lake and prior to that, was vice president of product management and growth at GoDaddy.
All three executives will report to Fanatics Commerce’s new chief executive officer Andrew Low Ah Kee, who joined the company last September.
“I am thrilled to welcome Stephen, Valerie and Justin to Fanatics Commerce, all of whom will play an invaluable role as we work toward elevating the experience of being a fan across all corners of world,” said Low Ah Kee. “All three are highly regarded executives who bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and energy to the Fanatics Commerce business that will help propel us into our next chapter.”
