Brigitte Macron joined her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron, on Saturday in Rome at the funeral for Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square.
France’s first lady observed a somber and minimalist dress code, choosing an all-black structured silhouette.
Macron coordinated with a double-breasted coat that featured wide lapels accented by large buttons, and a blouse and bow-neck scarf. Her pleated skirt was accessorized with a Louis Vuitton belt that had the fashion house’s logo in gold.
The minimalism continued with pink lipstick and a light touch of eyeshadow. Her blonde hair kept its typically voluminous, layered style with soft waves and bangs.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel wore a black suit with a vest, trousers, button-up white top and tie.
