Gabbriette got a head start on Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, festivities, cohosting a party with Don Julio Tequila on Thursday night to honor the holiday, which kicks off Saturday and ends on Sunday. For the celebratory affair at a Panaderia Don Julio pop-up in London, the model and musician mixed new Saint Laurent pumps with a dress from one of the fashion house’s early 2000s collections.

For footwear, Gabbriette opted for the luxury label’s Lisa platform pumps. Her heels are crafted from satin — a ubiquitous look this fall — and are set on a 110mm heel. Made in Italy, the silhouette, priced at $1,350, boasted a sharp pointed toe. Gabbriette dipped into Saint Laurent’s archives for her outfit, arriving in a black minidress from its spring 2023 collection, designed by then-creative director Tom Ford. With bell sleeves, the silhouette read very early aughts. The number also featured a gigantic gray rosette right smack dab in the middle.

Giving the platform heels and vintage dress all the attention, Gabbriette skipped jewelry altogether. She wore her dark brunette hair in a half-up, half-down look, completing her beauty moment with her signature skinny eyebrows, long lashes and a pink lip.

Satin shoes are the look du jour this season, especially in Hollywood. Zoë Kravitz, for one, wore Saint Laurent’s L’Entracte satin slingbacks — which bore a striking resemblance to Gabbriette’s style from last night — while promoting her latest film “Caught Stealing” in August. Earlier this month, Lady Gaga opted for Christian Louboutin bubblegum pink satin platforms during a trip to the airport in Milan. With the holidays drawing near, there will undeniably be more celebrity satin pump moments.
