Gabrielle Union is Knix’s latest global brand ambassador, the lingerie retailer revealed on Wednesday. The actress models bras and underwear from their Revolution and UltraThin lines in a new campaign, “Knix for Life.”

“I’m proud to be working with a brand like Knix,” said Union in a statement. “Their mission to inspire people to live unapologetically free, at any age and any stage is what resonated with me most. Because when I stopped caring about what everyone else thought, and leaned into what I thought — that’s when I felt empowered and free.”

The “Knix for Life” campaign honors the brand’s long-standing message of celebrating body diversity. Since its inception in 2013, the company has prioritized inclusion, hiring models of all shapes, sizes and ages.

“I created Knix because I was tired of brands limiting women to one narrow image. We’re more than just sexy or sporty; we’re multifaceted,” added Knix’s founder and president, Joanna Griffiths. “Gabrielle is the quintessential modern woman proving that we exist outside of a singular definition. Knix for life is about defying stereotypes no matter the stage or age you are in. I’m proud to support her and all women with products that match our dynamic lifestyle.”

Union’s relationship with the brand dates back three years ago, when the actress shared her postpartum experiences in Knix’s book “Life After Birth.” The actress has also authored three books of her own, including her most recent memoir, “You Got Anything Stronger?”

Knix revealed Ashley Graham as their first celebrity global brand ambassador in 2021.

Knix was acquired by Essity for $400 million in 2022. Since then, the brand has surpassed three million customers.
