Victoria Secret has the million-dollar bra. Now, Galia Lahav has the million-dollar wedding gown.
Ahead of its fall bridal presentation Tuesday at the Galia Lahav flagship boutique in SoHo, the Israeli brand beloved by supermodels is lifting the veil on a partnership with the Leibish diamond house. Together, they’ve created a gown with a seven-figure price tag, giving new meaning to the term “dream dress.”
Obviously, no expense was spared in bringing it to life. With an embroidered bodice overlaid in hand-dyed antique lace and a draped taffeta pannier skirt, the extravagant design would be expensive enough on its own, but to reach that million-dollar mark, Leibish contributed a 30-carat baroque-inspired ruby pin encrusted with diamonds. The pin can be removed and worn alone as a fine jewelry piece.
“This gown is designed for a bride who wants more than fashion, she wants luxury, exclusivity and legacy,” said Galia Lahav’s head designer, Sharon Sever. “We imagine it resonating with someone who views her wedding dress not just as a statement but as an investment.”

Indeed, it will be available by-appointment for one lucky bride with zero restrictions when it comes to budget, someone like Lauren Sanchez who chose Galia Lahav recently for her prenuptial party in Paris. But for those without Amazon money, the million-dollar gown will also be offered as a rental alongside a less expensive interpretation. This one features lab-grown gems, bringing the price down to a more stomachable $55,000.
Either way, Sever views the design as emblematic of Galia Lahav’s “Keepsake” theme this season. “A wedding gown is always cherished, but imagine one that can literally transform and be passed on to future generations? This dress is the ultimate expression of what we mean by a keepsake: a memory, a love story captured in fabric and stone, preserved forever.”
