It might’ve only been her second time to Paris, but Lola Tung says it’s already dazzled her. Not that we can fault her — besides, how could one not love Paris when in town for the Dior spring 2024 show?
“This is me being a silly little tourist,” she says of her “I Heart Paris” black cropped T-shirt, which she wore while in glam for the show. “I’ve only been to Paris twice but it’s absolutely stolen my heart.”
Tung, a New York native who is the star of the mega-popular Amazon series “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” has been a rising fixture in the fashion world ever since the show blew up with its first season in the summer of 2022. During New York Fashion Week this season, she took in the Bach Mai show and the Coach show/dinner, and has previously appeared in Coach’s Coachtopia campaign and attended Chanel events.
The morning of the Dior show began, of course, with breakfast.
“Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day, or at least breakfast food is my favorite. I had a delicious cappuccino and the best scrambled eggs ever,” Tung says. “”I also had [a] perfect plate of berries. I love the movie ‘Amelie’ and this reminded me of it.”
For the show, she wore a simple white tank and black skirt ensemble, accessorized with a classic Parisian red lip.
“I love a bold red lip. It’s so simple and classic but exciting and fun,” Tung says of her glam look. As for the clothes, “I felt so grateful to attend the Dior show and wear these beautiful pieces,” she says.
