“Cabaret,” starring Eddie Redmayne as the Emcee and Gayle Rankin as Sally Bowles, has officially opened at the Kit Kat Club on Broadway, and it’s already one of the season’s buzziest, must-see shows.

For the opening weekend, Rankin worked with stylist Karen Clarkson, hairstylist Jordan M and makeup artist Samantha Lau. Night one’s look was a 1998 Julien Macdonald dress that Rankin says both she and Clarkson “felt was the perfect homage to Sally,” and night two was a black Moschino look.

“Karen and I thought that this Moschino tailored black suit was a lovely complement to night one’s vintage dress,” Rankin says. “And I absolutely love the cheeky Moschino accessories!”

The prep began with a breakfast break at the Hotel Chelsea with Jordan M, both hairstylist extraordinaire and a “dear friend” of the actress’, before beginning the “mental preparation that goes into high heels,” she says.

The Scottish actress, who will next be seen in the second season of “House of the Dragon,” out this summer, was lucky enough to have some family in town for her big Broadway moment.

“My gorgeous mother flew in from Scotland — it means the world to me to have her here,” Rankin says. Others in her network included “my longtime best friend Nick Hoover” and “the best publicist and sister in the game, Jenny Tversky.

“I have the best support system around me,” Rankin says.

Night two’s highlights included the Moschino jewels she paired with the black tailored suit, as well as getting some “love and care” for her hands by Lau.
