Gwyneth Paltrow arrived on the red carpet for the premiere of the new Netflix series “The Brothers Sun” on Thursday in Los Angeles, donning a red plunging jersey top with a wool crepe maxiskirt accented with a coordinating belt from Cong Tri’s spring 2024 collection. She completed her look with slingback pumps in rouge noir from Paris Texas, and accessorized with statement earrings.
To create her look for “The Brothers Sun” premiere, Paltrow worked with celebrity stylist Elizabeth Saltzman, who also works with Julia Garner, Saoirse Ronan and Emily Lind.
Last year was a big one for Paris Texas, as the brand debuted its bridal footwear collection with Browns, and also teamed with Net-a-porter on a stiletto-centric collection for the holiday season.
“The Brothers Sun” follows the story of a Taiwanese triad, who is shot by an assassin, and his eldest son, Charles “Chairleg” Sun, who heads to Los Angeles to protect his mother and brother, who have been completely sheltered from the truth of their family until now. The series stars Justin Chien, Sam Li, Highdee Kuan and Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh. The series is produced by Gwyneth Paltrow’s husband, Brad Falchuk, and his production company Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision. Falchuk created the series in collaboration with Byron Wu.
When she’s not supporting her husband’s latest television projects, Paltrow is busy with Goop, her lifestyle brand and company she founded in 2007. In November, Paltrow picked up the Innovation Award presented by Amazon Fashion at the CFDA Awards.
The Oscar-winner’s Goop lifestyle brand claimed the honor for being “a visionary, leading with technology and innovation in branding, marketing, social media, customer engagement, performance, or product development, that helps shape the way customers shop today.”
Paltrow also made headlines in 2023 for her high-profile courtroom style for a case involving a skiing accident. Her looks for the courtroom included brands ranging from Ralph Lauren to The Row.
