H.E.R. took the stage at the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The singer’s presence nods to her hometown and the the host city of the 2028 Games: Los Angeles.

Dressed in a crystallized strapless suit featuring a button-up bustier and wide-leg trousers by Ralph Lauren. The “Damage” artist accessorized with layered Chopard necklaces and rings, a diamond-encrusted timepiece and her signature shades.

H.E.R. wore her long brunette tresses in curls, while her makeup included a bold red lip. The R&B star was styled by Wouri Vice, whose other celebrity clients include Andra Day and Issa Rae.

In a stunt out of “Mission Impossible,” Tom Cruise, suspended from a wire, flew into the Stade de France before riding off on a motorcycle carrying the Olympic flag.

The closing ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics took place on Aug. 11. Entitled “Records,” the spectacle paid tribute to Ancient Greece’s influence on the modern-day Games. Featuring performances by Phoenix and French opera singer Benjamin Bernheim, the ceremony also honored the passing of the Olympic flag to the host city of the 2028 Games, Los Angeles.
