Mariah Carey’s exclusive 16-date Las Vegas residency continued Sunday night at the Dolby Live inside the Park MGM Hotel with a few surprise guests. The Grammy-winning singer was joined onstage by Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks for some “glam time” during one of Carey’s performances.
While singing “Say Something” from her 2005 album “The Emancipation of Mimi,” Carey surprised Vegas audiences by bringing out Klum and Banks. The two models were dressed in black robes, with Klum wearing a glittering dress with tassels beneath her robe and Banks fashioning a patterned ensemble under her robe.
During the music break, Klum and Banks used makeup brushes to mime touching up Carey’s makeup and look. The singer wore a gold minidress by Sophie Couture. During the video, Banks seemingly reminded Carey to keep “smizing.” The two models tossed a robe and other props into the audience before Carey continued her performance. “And then last night in Las Vegas this happened…glam time with the one and only [Mariah Carey] and [Tyra Banks],” Klum captioned the video.
Carey’s Vegas residency began on April 12 and runs for an exclusive 16-date engagement. The show, “The Celebration of Mimi Live,” is an advance commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Carey’s 2005 album “The Emancipation of Mimi.”
Throughout her performances, Carey has fashioned looks by Sophie Couture, Valdrin Sahiti and Robert Wun, among others. For her hair and makeup, Carey enlisted the talents of makeup artist Kristofer Buckle and hairstylist Dior Sovoa. Her looks were curated by stylist Wilfredo Rosado, who also has a pearl-focused jewelry line. The two collaborated before on such notable events as Carey’s “Merry Christmas One and All Tour.”
