Hillary Clinton made two high-profile appearances on Monday during night one of the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. The former U.S. Secretary of State gave a speech at the DNC and appeared on an episode of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
For the occasion, Clinton wore an off-white, long-sleeve jacket made of the textual fabric. The tweed jacket featured two large pockets and fringe detailing on the hemline, cuffs and front placket of the piece.
Clinton paired the jacket with tailored trousers in a crisper shade of white, pointed-toe nude heels and delicate pieces of jewelry including a gold bracelet and statement earrings.
During her appearance onstage at the DNC, Clinton made a speech on Vice President Kamala Harris’ candidacy for president of the U.S. Following the 2016 election, Clinton said, “We refused to give up on America. Millions marched, many ran for office. We kept our eyes on the future. Well, my friends, the future is here.”

Following her appearance at the DNC, Clinton sat down with late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert, who moved his show from New York City to Chicago during the DNC.
During her time speaking with Colbert, Clinton remarked how “good” it felt to be back on the DNC stage, saying, “the atmosphere was incredible.”
The 2024 Democratic National Convention is taking place in Chicago and concludes on Thursday. Delegates from all 50 states and U.S. territories are gathering to formally nominate Harris as the Democratic candidate for president and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as the candidate for the office of vice president.
