Accenture said it has entered into an agreement to acquire Logic, which the company describes as “a retail technology services firm that works with retailers to drive customer loyalty, boost revenue and increase agility through the use of technology.”

Accenture said Logic’s capabilities will enhance the company to help drive technology-driven transformations for retailers and brands.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jill Standish, global lead of Accenture’s Retail industry practice, said business disruption is intensifying “and requires retailers to embrace a strategy of continuous reinvention to deliver value across every part of the business with digital technology at the core.” Standish said the addition of Logic’s expertise and industry-specific skills “will further enhance our ability to deliver comprehensive retail solutions and drive transformative outcomes for our clients to thrive in this dynamic marketplace.”

Logic was founded in 1997 and is based in Minneapolis with offices in 11 countries that serve more than 150 retailers worldwide.

Accenture said in a statement that Logic will expand its retail capabilities “with the addition of essential skills in core technologies and platforms, as well as artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI, to drive innovation for clients.”
