Jenna Ortega put an edgy spin on corsetry while appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York on Wednesday. The actress stopped by to promote her latest film, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” which debuts in theaters Sept. 6.

Ortega selected a custom Dion Lee ensemble based on a look from the label’s fall 2024 collection. Her outfit consisted of a corset top with gloved sleeves and a matching miniskirt, both of which were embellished with silver chains. A pair of pointed-toe pumps completed her look.

Speaking to host Jimmy Fallon, Ortega discussed working on the second season of Netflix’s “Wednesday,” which she’s currently filming. She also serves as one of the show’s producers this time around.

“It’s been the best,” she said. “I’ve never really done that on a TV show before and it’s so nice being a part of these conversations because I love what I do but I’m able to be a part of the background stuff, so I get to decide how blue somebody’s going to be or where the brains go on the floor, what the prosthetics look like. It’s so much fun, actually.”

Tim Burton, who served as director on the first season of “Wednesday,” also helms the sequel to his 1988 film, “Beetlejuice.”  The new installment follows the Deetz family’s return to Winter River. Ortega plays the teenage daughter of Winona Ryder’s Lydia Deetz.
