Jennifer Lopez arrived at the Eastern Congo Initiative Poker and Blackjack Tournament on Friday at Lavo Restaurant & Nightclub in Las Vegas, embracing the cutout trend in a strapless asymmetrical David Koma dress.
She accessorized with diamond jewelry from Reza and strappy black Andrea Wazen platform sandals.
To create her look for the poker and blackjack tournament, Lopez worked with her stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who also collaborate with Kerry Washington, Lily Collins and Gwen Stefani.
The Eastern Congo Initiative was founded in 2010 by Lopez’s husband, actor Ben Affleck, focusing on advocacy and funding for the people of eastern Congo. Affleck hosted the tournament to raise funds for his charity.
Accompanying Lopez on the red carpet, Affleck wore a royal blue three-piece suit, a white shirt unbuttoned at the top and black lace-up oxford shoes.
The Eastern Congo Initiative Blackjack & Poker Tournament comes at an opportune time, as many celebrities have descended upon Las Vegas for the Formula 1 Grand Prix. On Wednesday night, Kylie Minogue, J Balvin and Andra Day performed at the opening ceremony.
Lopez and Affleck recently shared another couple’s style moment earlier this month at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles. They both wore Gucci, with Lopez decked out in a sheer evening gown featuring bodice cutouts, floral embroidery and a thigh-high slit. Affleck suited up in a black tuxedo and boots.
At the beginning of November, Lopez also expanded her JLo Beauty line with the brand’s first lip product, Beso Balm Ultra Hydrating Lip Mask. The product is a balm-mask hybrid meant for reapplication during the day and overnight wear.
