Jill Biden chose Ralph Lauren for Sunday’s opening night of “Othello” on Broadway. The former first lady attended the event in a light blue dress custom-made by the brand.
Her dress was long-sleeved and featured a glittery finish. She’s accessorized with a simple necklace and earrings. On her feet, she wore metallic shoes.
Jill previously wore the dress for the 2024 Democratic National Convention in August at the United Center in Chicago. The former first lady is known for promoting American brands and has worn Ralph Lauren many times before, including at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony in July, as well as during a state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2023. She also wore a Ralph Lauren ensemble at the coronation of King Charles III in May 2023.
Throughout her time in the White House, the former first lady worked with fashion advisor Bailey Moon to create her looks. Moon also works with Cristin Milioti, Kerri Russell and Thomas Doherty.
