Vice President Kamala Harris continued her presidential campaign with a trip to Pennsylvania on Sunday. The vice president was joined by her husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, along with her vice president choice Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
Harris opted for a casual take on power suiting. She wore a single-breasted blue blazer with sharp lapels and long sleeves, a black top and tapered black trousers.
Putting a twist on her usual pearl accessories, Harris opted for the Labradorite necklace courtesy of Irene Neuwirth, which reflected the darker tones Harris chose to wear for the campaign event. The vice president also wore an American flag on the lapel of her blazer.
Completing her ensemble, Harris wore a pair of Chuck Taylor Converse shoes. The low-top trainers are a callback to Harris’ time campaigning with President Joe Biden during the 2020 election cycle. Harris famously wore Chucks with her pearls in the lead-up to the 2020 election. She even wore a pair of Chucks when she graced the cover of Vogue in January 2021.
