Kate Middleton isn’t going full fall with her royal wardrobe yet. The Princess of Wales forewent her recent spin on earthy tones and shades of green for a monochrome gray moment in pieces by Jigsaw, Reiss and more during her visit to the West Sussex Minibus organization on Wednesday in Pulborough, England.

The British royal family member turned to a variety of brands and labels, some of which came from British luxury staples, for her daytime look. To start off, Middleton sported some cozy outerwear with a wool coat courtesy of the British luxury brand Jigsaw.

Once the coat was removed, Middleton showed off even more of her monochrome styling with a Reiss matte-silk tie-neck blouse in gray. The long-sleeve blouse was a polished piece that was further accentuated by a pair of charcoal gray trousers with pleating and a wide-leg silhouette.

A burgundy Victoria Beckham mirror belt added some slight color to the mostly monochrome moment, while the Princess of Wales’ Gianvito Rossi pointed toe pumps completed the look with that same splash of muted color.

As for accessories, Middleton opted to go with two brands she’s sported in the past — Annoushka Jewelry and Kiki McDonough. While leaning back into monochromatic style isn’t such a surprise for Middleton, it is quite a pivot from her recent fall fashion showcase.

Over the course of the last few weeks, the Princess of Wales has embraced chocolate browns, moss greens and taupes for the fall season. Now, it might be only the first few days of autumn, but the British royal’s latest public appearances have indicated a seasonal sartorial shift.

Indeed, Middleton’s mostly monochrome gray look is a pivot from the Burberry trenchcoat from her Scotland excursion on Sept. 17 and her checkered Max Mara blazer from Sept. 24. Still, the look is most certainly no departure from the style or brands the Princess of Wales has become so well-known for during her time as a senior member of the British royal family.
