Katy Perry was a glittering sight at the Jingle Bell Ball 2024 in London tonight. The music artist arrived at the event, where she was later performing, while wearing a silver sequin dress.

The “Firework” singer brought holiday sparkle to the red carpet, in a sleeveless gown that featured a high-slit with fringed ties along the side. Perry wore the shimmering dress with layered huggie earrings, clear pointed-toe pumps, and a matching chrome manicure.

The look is a timely one, as silver dresses have been trending on the red carpet this past year. In September, the MTV VMAs red carpet was full of glittering dresses from chainmail to satin. Celebrities such as  Paris Hilton, Jordan Chiles, Sabrina Carpenter, and Sole Oceanna all put forth takes on silver dresses for the awards show.

The metallic trend also dominated the red carpet at the recent LACMA Art + Film Gala 2024 and this year’s Emmy Awards.
