Kendall Jenner Appears in Donna Karan Collection Campaign Capturing New York City’s Energy

Donna Karan New York’s fall 2026 campaign will feature Kendall Jenner, photographed by Mert Alas.

For the first time since the brand’s relaunch, the campaign unfolds across iconic New York City locations, where the city’s energy, texture and light become an extension of the collection.

The visual style references a late 1980s Donna Karan campaign and video, photographed by Dennis Piel, that featured Rosemary McGrotha expressing her inner thoughts inside a limousine coming into New York. That film inspired this latest concept where Jenner imagines she has New York City entirely to herself.

The campaign, with creative direction by Trey Laird, is set against the INXS track “Never Tear Us Apart.” Appearing inside and outside the car, Jenner describes what makes the city so compelling.

“Mert Alas is a master of creating a visual world full of cinematic storytelling infused with powerful fashion imagery. His images are both instantly iconic as well as timeless and modern, and he perfectly captured Kendall embodying the essence of the Donna Karan woman for today,” said Laird, founder, Team Laird.

Jenner spotlights the iconic bodysuit from the Donna Karan archives, reimagined for fall 2026 with an extra-wide belt, alongside key looks from the collection, including a draped wool jersey jacket and skirt layered beneath a leather coat and a richly tailored velvet suit.

Several of these looks are defined by a seasonal shade of black cherry. Jenner also wears a stylized aviator jacket and skirt in espresso brown, as well as a full-length sequin dress. The looks are completed with the Cashmere tote in chocolate suede and the black cherry Leno bag, sculptural gold accessories, and eyewear.

The Donna Karan New York campaign launches Wednesday across all Donna Karan New York social channels, featuring Jenner. It will use a mix of digital platforms, print placements, and premium outdoor displays. The fall 2026 collection is available to shop on DonnaKaran.com and select retailers globally.
