Kendall Jenner was spotted wearing the shoe of the summer on repeat over the weekend: the designer flip-flop. With just one week left before fall officially kicks off, the model styled one of The Row‘s popular flip-flops three different ways while out and about in New York.

On Sunday, “The Kardashians” star was spotted out in the West Village wearing a pair of The Row’s City flip-flop in black leather. The sandals retail for $890 and are the brand’s elevated flip-flop style, compared to their Dune rubber flip-flops.

The City flip-flop features a low-profile, thong sandal design, made with shiny calfskin leather with stitched leather detailing and a lightly treaded sole, ideal for walks around New York. The shoe also dons a square toe design.

On Sunday, Jenner paired the sandals with a butter yellow Chloe ruched long dress. The frock features a long, maxidress design and a ruched bodice. The dress had long and loose-fitting prairie sleeves with cutouts and a button detail on the cuffs.

Jenner was in New York to attend a party to celebrate her joint Vogue cover alongside Gigi Hadid on Sunday. During her visit, she wore the flip-flops with three other model-off-duty looks, including a cream satin skirt and black tank top, a white tank top with black yoga pants, and a white crop top, red sweater with black sweatpants.

The Row’s flip-flops have been a celebrity go-to shoe during the warmer months for both men and women, with stars like Jonathan Bailey and Lori Harvey making it one of the most popular shoes of the season.

The Row’s flip-flops were among the hottest shoes on the second-quarter 2025 Lyst Index, achieving its highest Index ranking to date, inspired by the performance of the brand’s Dune flip-flop, becoming that quarter’s most popular product. Searches for the $690 flip-flop rose by 162 percent in the second quarter.
