Kim Kardashian shared a TikTok-style vlog of a fashion breakdown for a viral look she wore on New Year’s Day in Aspen, which she said was her favorite ensemble from the trip. During the vlog, the Skims founder gave a shout-out to her ex-husband Kanye West’s Yeezy shoe designs, saying there is “nothing like” them.
The textured look included Roberto Cavalli tattered pants in a deep burgundy, worn with brown Miu Miu leggings underneath, a Dolce & Gabbana corset, and a Hermès by Jean Paul Gaultier shawl. “I have had these Cavalli pants in my closet for a couple of years now,” she said. “I always thought that I would never be able to wear them because of all the lines and that I was just going to wear them for a photoshoot one day or fully covered, but we found a solution. So we put on brown Miu Miu leggings.”

She completed her outfit with a pair of Yeezy Snake Effect Calf Boots in brown snake leather. The ankle boots featured an elongated square toe, and a steep heel measuring around five inches. “Then I put it with these Yeezy boots,” she said as she put them on. “I will say, there’s nothing like a Yeezy heel. I don’t know if they ever made these, or just made them for me. I love when a shoe is tonal to the pant.”
Kardashian and West were married from 2014 until she filed for divorce in February 2021, with their contentious divorce being finalized in 2022. During their time together, “The Kardashians” star often served as a muse and inspiration for the brand, debuting and modeling the latest collections on social media and beyond and was often spotted wearing the shoes and heels designed by her then-husband.
West began designing high heels as part of a collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti in 2011, which he debuted as part of his first collection in Paris. Then he launched his Yeezy brand with Adidas, focusing on sneakers in 2016. Adidas and West then entered a partnership that included a range of apparel, accessories and footwear.
