In 2024, Salomon reengineered the XT-4 as the XT-4K exclusively for a collaboration with Kith. The New York City-based label is now bringing back that model for a new iteration while also debuting another brand-new silhouette from its French partner.
The Kith x Salomon XT-4K and XT-Voyager 2 will both release this week as part of Kith’s spring collection. The latter model is a sleeker evolution of the XT-Voyager featuring a ripstop zippered shroud and a subtle hex camo pattern on its toe box. It’ll be available in two colorways, Triple Black and Vanilla Ice, both of which stick with largely monochromatic palettes. Kith branding gets small applications scattered throughout the upper, as well as the insole, and a Contagrip rubber outsole provides trail-worthy traction.
More overtly Kith is the XT-4K, which spells out the name with its TPU overlays. Its new colorway gives sparse applications to a few shades of blue, while the majority of its profile is rendered in black. Classic XT-4 tooling is maintained through its full-length Agile Chassis Skeleton, Quicklace system and dual-density EVA foam midsole.

Salomon first launched the XT-4 in 2012, and it’s since become one of its most widely adopted silhouettes for lifestyle wear. Capitalizing on that appeal was last year’s relaunch of the XT-Whisper, which was initially introduced as a women’s trail runner in 2009.
The new Kith x Salomon XT-4K and XT-Voyager 2 assortment is available through raffle entries open now through Thursday, and a first come, first serve launch will follow Friday through Kith’s website, app and stores. Pricing for each sneaker is set at $200.
