Kylie Jenner brought the sheer trend into the new year on Wednesday, donning a strapless corset dress while attending Jean Paul Gaultier‘s spring 2024 couture show in Paris.
The reality star and beauty mogul opted for a blush-toned sheath from the French label, pairing it with PVC platform heels and geometric jewelry. Evoking an edgy Greek goddess, Jenner’s brunette tresses were styled in a messy updo, which she complimented with minimal makeup.
The sheer silhouettes that proved popular in 2023 are showing no signs of slowing this year. Labels including Brandon Maxwell, Chanel and Balenciaga sent see-through styles down the runway during the spring 2024 season. Celebrities have embraced the trend, with stars like Florence Pugh, Kathryn Hahn and Emily Blunt sporting sheer designs at the Emmys and Golden Globes. Jenner herself put a floral spin on the trend at the latter awards show, sporting a lacey vintage gown by Hanae Mori.
Jenner was hardly the only star in attendance at Gaultier’s latest presentation. Noah Cyrus, Bella Thorne and Jordyn Woods also made front row appearances.
Last year, Jenner was the face of Gaultier’s spring 2023 campaign after wearing the label at the Met Gala. She’s also been a front-row fixture at multiple shows and sported archival Gaultier designs on occasion.
In November, Jenner ventured into the fashion business by launching her own clothing brand, Khy. The line surpassed $1 million in sales within the first hour of its release, building on the success of her beauty company, Kylie Cosmetics, which was valued at $1.2 billion in 2019.
