In anticipation of its 10th anniversary and International Women’s Day, La Ligne has introduced a limited-edition capsule in collaboration with Lily Aldridge, the model.

A longtime friend and muse, Aldridge starred in La Ligne’s first campaign at its 2016 launch. For the collaboration, she steps into the role of codesigner and face of the seven-piece capsule. The line centers on versatile, easy-to-pack essentials designed for a woman on the move.

The capsule is anchored in black and ivory with a custom polka-dot print and includes tailored separates, soft essentials and accessories, retailing from $125 to $395.

“We anticipate the Lily dress will be a standout bestseller, thanks to its timeless silhouette, versatile styling and ease of wear — hallmarks of both the brand and Lily’s personal style,” said Valerie Macaulay, cofounder and chief creative officer of La Ligne.

Asked why they chose Aldridge to codesign the capsule, Meredith Melling, cofounder of La Ligne, explained, “Lily Aldridge was a natural choice to codesign the capsule as a longtime brand muse and the face of La Ligne’s very first campaign in 2016. As we approach our 10-year anniversary, Lily’s deep, authentic connection to the brand made the collaboration feel truly full circle.”

Proceeds from the capsule will benefit Mother to Mother, a Nashville-based nonprofit supporting women and families with essential resources.

To support the capsule, an ad campaign was shot at Blackberry Farm in Knoxville, Tenn., a location the brand has returned to over the years.

The La Ligne x Lily Aldridge capsule will be available online at laligeny.com and at La Ligne Nashville. The SOS “Save Our Stripes” T-shirt, a revival of a concept introduced by the brand 10 years ago, will be offered exclusively at the Nashville store.

At present, La Ligne has nine stores, with plans to open an additional location in the coming months as part of its continued growth, according to Molly Howard, cofounder and chief executive officer.
