As Le Monde Béryl continues to mark its 10th anniversary, the London-based, Italian-produced brand has modeled several of its styles alongside historic paintings in a new campaign.
The label also quietly opened a New York store at 23 East 67th Street on Thursday.
Ahead of a busy fall, the brand went to the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna for its “Le Monde at the Museum” campaign.
It was staged within the museum’s iconic Picture Gallery — featuring historic paintings by masters including Bruegel, Caravaggio, Rubens and Vermeer. The campaign also visits the lesser known, back-of-house conservation studios.
“Le Monde at the Museum” finds model Anna de Rijk discovering the galleries at a pivotal moment in the institution’s history, with Picture Gallery director Jennifer Sliwka embarking upon a major rehang of many rooms.

The collection is being reorganized around a new curatorial thesis such that visitors can engage with the work — with Caravaggio being a prominent name — from a fresh perspective. The campaign allows a peek at the inner workings of the museum, including research and restoration, curation and the handling of art. Leigh Johnson captured the campaign, with styling by Vanessa Reid and creative direction by Lily Atherton Hanbury.
For its fall collection, the brand was inspired the 1978 film “The Eyes of Laura Mars” — written by John Carpenter, directed by Irvin Kershner and starring Faye Dunaway — served as inspiration for Le Monde Béryl’s fall 2026 collection.
Described as a film that’s “full of tensions,” an official release explains, “Set in New York, the film’s overarching voyeuristic atmosphere and mood coupled with the obsessive hyperrealism often found in the art works of Domenico Gnoli, which strip away everything for a zoomed-in detail, became the central reference points for the fall ’26 collection says creative director Lily Atherton Hanbury.”
As the brand evolves, new territory is explored through the refinement or the melding of existing styles — three fresh boot styles demonstrate this approach. For example, the Camille Boot, featuring a squat wedge, evolves into a straight and sleek leather riding boot.
Also joining Le Monde’s boot category is the Wren Boot, a flat mid-calf lace-up style blending themes of regency, wrestling and riding. Meanwhile, the Olympia Slipper is a new ballerina offering with a center seam and removable jewel bracelet fastening. Additional fall 2026 offerings include two different mule styles, the new Luca series featuring a kitten heel and a mule-wedge with a crossover front, and more options, with aesthetics ranging from a campy furry finish to 1990s strappy minimalism.
