The stars dazzled on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party following the 96th annual Academy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, where Lindsay Lohan wore a custom version of one of Balenciaga‘s spring 2024 looks.
The strapless dress featured an embroidered bustier with silver sequin fringe. Balenciaga’s spring 2024 collection featured a number of dramatic silhouettes and a playful use of materials for formalwear, as exhibited by Lohan’s dress. Fringe was one of the runway’s biggest trends for this year’s spring collections.
The “Mean Girls” star completed her look with a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. She accessorized with vintage diamond earrings, rings and a bracelet courtesy of Joseph Saidian & Sons. Lohan was styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.
Lohan has made a number of appearances recently. The actress, who made her Hollywood comeback with 2022’s “Falling for Christmas,” has a new Netflix romantic comedy on the way.
Lohan stars in the upcoming “Irish Wish,” which features the actress as Maddie Kelly, a woman who puts aside her unrequited love for her best friend Emma’s fiancé, Paul, in order to support them. After making a wish, Maddie wakes up to find that she’s in a new reality, one in which she’s marrying Paul. At the “Irish Wish” New York City premiere, Lohan channeled old Hollywood glamour with her own contemporary twist in a vintage John Galliano dress.
The Vanity Fair Oscar Party, first held in 1994, is one of the best-known after parties following the Academy Awards. The annual bash, hosted by the magazine’s editor in chief, Radhika Jones, is attended by a plethora of A-listers, including those not present at the annual Oscars ceremony.
