Antonela Roccuzzo was dressed in-theme for David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration on Sunday. The Argentine influencer and wife of soccer player Lionel Messi wore an emerald green dress designed by Victoria Beckham, the birthday boy’s wife.
Roccuzzo’s dress was crafted of high-shine jersey and featured an O-ring accent at the waist with an open back, long sleeves and curved seaming. The style came from Victoria Beckham’s resort 2024 collection, which was inspired by “Basic Instinct,” “Taxi Driver” and Victoria’s childhood, as previously reported by WWD’s Hikmat Mohammed.
“This is one of my favorite collections to work on because this is the Christmas party season. I’m always designing what I want to wear in the lead up to the festive season,” said Victoria.
Roccuzzo styled the dress with pieces from Tiffany & Co.‘s collaboration with Pharrell Williams, which was released in May and incorporates sharp spikes within an array of necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
Messi accompanied his wife in an all-black tuxedo look, adorned with a gold wristwatch.
David Beckham celebrated his upcoming 50th birthday with a star-studded party in Miami at Cipriani Downtown Miami’s Socialista lounge. Messi was one of the VIP guests at the event. Messi and Beckham have developed a strong relationship, both professionally and personally, since Messi’s move to Inter Miami CF in 2023. The soccer team is co-owned by Beckham, who will turn 50 on May 2.
