Converse and Madhappy have unveiled their first collaboration, introducing three reworked Chuck 70 styles built around washed canvas, raw-edge construction and Madhappy’s signature star details.
The collection blends Converse’s long-running heritage with the Los Angeles brand’s optimistic, modern point of view, creating a lineup that’s deliberately pared back and focused on texture and hand-done finishes.
All three pairs — offered in Vintage White, Black and Thunder Daze — start with a heavy-washed canvas upper designed to look worn in from Day One. Raw edges along the collar and eye-stay add to the broken-in effect, while burnished foxing tape and a slightly darkened toecap continue the lived-in feel. The understated palette keeps the focus on material contrast: each shoe includes a suede heel accent, a suede Madhappy star logo and a felt Chuck patch for a subtle mix of texture without pulling away from the minimalist design.
The campaign features influencer Enya Umanzor and was lensed by Gillian Garcia, shot outdoors across grass and concrete. The images lean into movement and ease — a visual throughline that echoes the collaboration’s themes of youth, instinct and the kind of relaxed freedom that both brands often embrace.

The Madhhappy partnership follows a busy stretch of Converse collaborations this year. Earlier this fall, Converse introduced its Bluey By You program, adding Bluey-themed graphics, hardware choices and mix-and-match upper colors to its customization platform. That same month, the brand rolled out its Coca-Cola partnership, which included a campaign with Vince Staples and a limited-edition red Chuck 70 alongside several Chuck Taylor All Star styles tied to classic Coke flavors. And earlier this summer, Charli XCX introduced her customizable “By You” experience, bringing trompe-l’oeil distressing and Brat-coded elements to the All Star.
The Madhhappy & Converse Chuck 70 collection will launch on Friday at 9 a.m. PST through madhappy.com, Madhhappy Shops, converse.com and select retailers.
