Margaret Qualley opted for classic black and white dressing for the “Blue Moon” photo call at the Berlinale International Film Festival on Tuesday in Berlin. The actress stars in the Richard Linklater-directed film alongside Ethan Hawke, Andrew Scott and Bobby Cannavale.
For the photo call, Qualley opted for a look courtesy of Chanel’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The dress featured long sleeves with buttons running down the front placket off the side. The skirt of the dress also included a short slit.
Adding a touch of color contrast, Qualley’s dress also included a crisp white collar. The actress coordinated the look with sheer black tights and mary jane heels. She wore a few dainty pieces of jewelry and coiffed her hair with a side braid and pulled-back style.

Qualley’s look made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in October 2024. The spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection hit the runway prior to Matthieu Blazy’s appointment as the artistic director of the French luxury fashion house.
The collection featured “‘60s-flavored monochrome tweed skirt suits that came with split skirts or skorts for freedom of movement, and belted jumpsuits and tweed aviator jackets with ruffled feather collars,” Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
“Alongside vaporous evening gowns trimmed with ostrich feathers were bread-and-butter items such as pastel-colored knits and crochet dresses, bedazzled jeans and silk charmeuse separates in colorful feather prints,” Diderich wrote.
Qualley has been a longtime partner of Chanel, wearing pieces from the French luxury fashion house throughout the promotional tour and awards campaign for her film “The Substance” alongside Oscar-nominated actress Demi Moore. Qualley also hit the runway for Chanel in January 2024, opening the couture show.
