LONDON Meet Lennon Gallagher — the son of Liam Gallagher, the former lead vocalist of the rock band Oasis, and British actress Patsy Kensit — who was part of the British cast of models in Burberry’s fall 2024 show in Victoria Park in East London.

Gallagher walked in the show wearing a boxy black jacket with leather patchwork, worn over a hoodie — the look was accessorized with a red check scarf tied around his head, a salute to the British countryside.

“He’d always been inspiring and I think with this show in particular we really wanted to celebrate a really great British cast,” said Daniel Lee, Burberry’s chief creative officer backstage.

The cast included models such as Lily Cole, Naomi Campbell, Edie Campbell, Agyness Deyn and Lily Donaldson.

Lennon Gallagher has become a fixture on the runway, walking for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Saint Laurent and Lanvin.

He’s also a boy about town with appearances at Burberry turning Harrods “knight blue” as part of the luxury department store’s first major event of its 175th anniversary celebrations this year or attending Chanel’s 2024 Métiers d’Art show, which unfurled on a cobbled street in the center of Manchester.

The city of Manchester holds sentimental value for Lennon Gallagher’s family, as it was the birthplace of his father’s rock band in 1991.

“This is the birthplace of Oasis, lan Curtis and The Smiths. This is my bread and butter in terms of what turns me on,” Chanel ambassador Kristen Stewart told WWD last December.

Lennon is one of four siblings and the only child from Liam and Kensit’s marriage. His siblings are Gene and Molly Gallagher, as well as James Kerr, from his mother’s marriage to Jim Kerr, the lead singer of the Scottish rock band Simple Minds.

In 2017, Italian designer Massimo Giorgetti, founder of MSGM, tapped Lennon to walk in the label’s show, as well as appearing in the label’s fall ad campaign, lensed by English photographer Alasdair McLellan, which was shot in London under the creative direction of Katie Grand. The images took inspiration from the ’90s aesthetic.
